Belgian scale-up Dripl launches the Dripl Flow, elevating hydration at work and scaling local production

With the Dripl Flow, a new countertop dispenser awarded the Red Dot Design Award, Dripl raises the standard for hydration in the workplace: refined design and the most compact smart hydration system on the market. Local production capacity in Belgium scales through a new partnership with an inclusive manufacturing partner.

BRUSSELS, 1 June 2026 - Belgian scale-up Dripl launches the Dripl Flow today, the most advanced step in its product offering yet, redefining how teams hydrate at work. The Dripl Flow combines a refined design and the most compact format on the market for smart hydration, making it easier for organisations, no matter the space, to offer healthier, zero-waste drinks to their teams. Users personalise their water with a growing range of natural, sugar-free flavours and functionals such as vitamins and caffeine, making every refill fit the moment.

The Dripl Flow has already been awarded the Red Dot Design Award, one of the most prestigious international design distinctions for physical products.

Back in 2020, as students, we learned that 1.3 billion single-use packages are produced every single day. Talking to workplaces, we saw the problem was even bigger: drinks were unhealthy, teams weren't hydrating the way they wanted to, and managing endless cans and bottles was a constant hassle," says Colin Deblonde, co-founder of Dripl. "So we set out to take on the beverage industry, not with another drink in the same can or PET bottle, but by fundamentally rethinking how we hydrate: refilling, personalised, with better ingredients. The Dripl Flow is the most advanced expression of that idea yet.

Scaling production locally, with social impact at its core

To support its next phase of growth, Dripl is scaling its local production in Leuven by, moving assembly of the Dripl Flow to a new partner, also based in Leuven. This inclusive manufacturing partner is a social enterprise that employs people who face barriers to employment, including people with disabilities. The collaboration allows Dripl to scale its business and its social impact in parallel.

Producing locally has always mattered to us, and producing locally with social impact matters even more," adds Colin. "As we grow, that origin story stays the same.

Dripl Intelligence: a smart system behind the device

The Dripl Flow is powered by Dripl Intelligence, the company's connected operating system. Smart components monitor each device in real time, predicting maintenance before issues arise and sending timely notifications when flavours or CO₂ are running low. This makes service easier for everyone, for customers, for Dripl's partners, and for Dripl itself. Dripl Intelligence also gives organisations clear insight into their hydration and wellbeing data, showing the impact they have on both their teams' health and the planet.

The road ahead

Today, with more than 500 customers across the Benelux, including Moore, ArcelorMittal, Visma, PostNL and PwC, a Dripl drink is dispensed every second of the workday, and more than 50.000 people hydrate with Dripl daily. The long-term ambition stays the same: to turn hydration into an effortless habit people genuinely enjoy, because what you drink should be better for you, and better for the planet.
